Hot dog eating contest?
Skate a curb?
Exploration in a foreign country?
Connor Lock is all in.
From an early age, Connor Lock has never been one to watch from the sidelines. He's a trail-blazing explorer, an innovative designer, and an energetic skateboarder. His disregard for normalcy has cultured a uniquely creative, ambitious individual.
Growing up, Connor became accustomed to moving every couple of years. When most of us were experiencing all the joys of those awkward preteen years, Connor moved to England. Half of his classmates were intrigued by him whereas the other half loathed him. Despite being 11 and now addressed as the "new American boy," Connor never abandoned his vivacious spirit. With time, friends and a new love for skateboarding came along. Living in Europe also allowed for some sweet ass vacations--Italy, Spain, France, and Germany--not to mention exposure to other cultures. The English life was grand but the American boy had to return to his country due to his father's new project assignment. The culture shock was stronger than ever when his family relocated to South Carolina.
Showcasing his drive to succeed, Connor graduated as valedictorian from the painfully expensive Art Institute of Charleston. Upon graduating, Connor worked at design agencies and then switched to freelance. It was not long until one of his clients hired him as their Creative Director. A steady paycheck and weekends off sufficed for a few years.
At the age of 25, Connor took matters into his own hands and created his company. Named after his lucky number, S E V E N isn't simply a graphic design company, just as Connor is not simply a designer. He embodies a multitude of skills that are transparent in his work. Whether you want a sleek logo or a quirky illustration of a pelican flying with a koala and a balloon, Connor is your man. His wheels are constantly turning. In fact, his noggin is a piece of art in itself.
Oh, and if you want to pick his brain, be sure to bring beer or go home.
