I was looking for a new design and logo for my business and began searching for local designer to take on the project. SEVEN popped up on a few different social media platforms and I decided to take a deeper look into the website and their previous work. I had a certain design I was after and wanted to work directly with the artist and SEVEN ended up being the perfect fit. Connor from SEVEN and I met and went over the general concept of the project and discussed how things would progress. Connor started the work and kept me up to date as things progressed. I have learned that I am a horrible customer and have some OCD, which makes me think I was a nightmare for Connor, but I was never made to feel like my input was unwanted or a burden… and he still emails me back! The final product was exactly what I wanted. After working several years in the restaurant industry, I am building my passion project restaurant named after my incredible mother Gale because she embodies hospitality and comfort, so keeping a cohesive theme and story to the project design was extremely important. Connor took the time to understand the concept on a personal and historical level, using old family photos and history to draw ideas from. He never had a canned response. All the time I spent with Connor, he drew from my personal needs and inspirations to make a brand design that properly encompassed my vision. Even when Gale herself had qualms with the final text format on one of the designs months after the fact, Connor updated the design while on a layover in Sweden, and had finalized changes to her in less than an hour. This is an artist dedicated to your needs and vision. I personally have zero visual artistic ability, so I only had vague descriptions and ideas for Connor to draw from, and he somehow made my vision a cohesive reality, kept my opinion relevant during every step of the process, and I can't put a price on his ability to properly represent my passion.

I was introduced to Connor back in 2015 when I needed some hand painted signage for a project I was working on at the time. The work was so good, Seven went on to do several other projects for us. In 2018, Tina and I needed an entire brand deck developed when we moved Kwei Fei into our new home, and of course, Connor was the first call we made. He absolutely nailed what we wanted our brand to be. He handled logo design, color choices, did more brilliant hand painted signage and even a limited edition artwork T-shirt for us. He even developed our "Loud Hot Vibes" tagline. Connor really listened and understood who we were and what we wanted during the planning phase, and we had final approval done at our first meeting. We can't recommend Seven, and Connor Lock enough.

The final product of SEVEN's work for Person People is a brand identity that receives continuous compliments from those who discover our company. More often than not, upon handing someone a business card, the person will immediately compliment the quality of the card and thoughtfulness of the design. These experiences have reaffirmed that SEVEN can not only create meaningful branding, but has the expertise to implement this branding throughout all necessary mediums to make the greatest impact to all who encounter it. My biggest takeaway from working with SEVEN, however, is the thoughtfulness they put into the discovery process. The desire to truly understand who Person People would come to be prompted a process of deep diving that not only dictated SEVEN's creative process, but provided a road map for my own self-discovery, resulting in a stronger and more confident company launch. SEVEN served not only as a vendor providing a service, but as a partner, equally invested in creating a real personality for Person People.

Starting a new business can be stressful and at times you ask yourself are we doing the right thing. In steps Connor from SEVEN who not only is an incredible artist, he is a calming genuine presence in the room. His work was not only what we wanted he took it to the next level. With his vision, the murals added a cohesive theme to our space that helps set us apart from our competition. I would strongly recommend any business to work with SEVEN you will not be disappointed. Even when my own staff accidentally damaged his work he kept a cool head, fixed the problem and no one even noticed.
